Pre-Law Area of Emphasis
The Pre-Law Area of Emphasis is designed for Philosophy majors who plan on attending law school or who simply have an interest in the law. The course of study for the Pre-Law AoE includes all the requirements for the Philosophy major as well as PHIL 130: Current Moral Problems, PHIL 323: Social and Political Philosophy, and PHIL 325: Philosophy of Law.
Along with other graduate-level exams, philosophy majors consistently score high on the LSAT, compared to students with majors in different fields.
See the Undergraduate Catalog for degree requirements for the Pre-Law Area of Emphasis.
