A lot of Professor Hungerman's weekends are spent helping to transport animals, mostly dogs and puppies, usually from high kill shelters to places where they will be safe and have the chance to find a home. Her own cat and dog ensure that she is kept well apprised of any and all medical conditions that may afflict domestic animals and that her vet will never want for business.
